Robert Lee Bradley Crowder, age 64, of the Post Oak Community, died of cancer Sunday evening, January 14, 2007, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Saturday, January 20, 2007, at Post Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Matthew Wright officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. God gave Robert to us on January 14, 1943 and brought him home on January 14, 2007. He was born in Adairsville, GA to the late Jeanette Hopkins Crowder and Lee Perry Crowder. He moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1981 and worked with Centurion/ S.E. Transport, and enjoyed pursuing kingfish off the shore of St. Augustine, FL. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, and his favorite pastime was pursuing the illusive turkey and sharing his vast knowledge and experience with his close friends. What a gift he was to all of us! Survivors include his wife, Alma Holmes Crowder of the Post Oak Community, four sons, Hunter Crowder of the Post Oak Community, Robert Scott Crowder and Jason Corey Crowder of Cartersville GA, and Marty Smith of Jacksonville, FL, two sisters, Eunice Crowder of Cartersville, GA, and Margaret Paulk of Panama City, FL, three brothers, William Crowder, Lynn Crowder, and Johnnie Crowder all of Cartersville, GA, three grandchildren, Melanie Crowder, Isaac Crowder, and Jordan Crowder.
