When I first came to Atlanta after college in the year 1979 I had the good fortune to work with Charles at AAA Georgia Motor Club. I moved back to Florida to care for my Mother who passed in 1985 and in 1993 and was fortunate to locate and resume my friendship with Charles and it was as if we were never apart. Later he made the decision to move to Pensacola and we stayed in touch. I was saddened to learn of his accident and death and many times since I have thought of him. Such a good man, a faithful friend, kind person, who certainly made the world a much better place. Well done, faithful servant.

I miss Charles. I know he has been gone for a long time. It was tragic he left us at such a young age. My greetings go to his Sister, Bette, and his Mother, Juanita. I had the express good fortune to work with Charles shortly after he arrived in Atlanta. We worked at the Georgia Motor Club at 1100 Spring St NW in Atlanta. I was in Road Service, Charles in Sales and then he moved to be head of the Purchasing Department where he did an outstanding job. Later our friendship re-kindled while he was working for Home Depot and then he left Atlanta and moved to Pensacola. He was such a kindred spirit, a kind man, and the type of friend you wanted to have. We had many interesting conservations on current events and so many things, he was very focus and intelligent, and we shared a history so it was so wonderful to talk to him. Dear Charles I know you are in a better place and thank you for being a good friend to me.

When we were kids growing up, Charles and I were good friends. Even though I haven't seen him in almost 30 years, he will certainly be missed. He had a great sense of humor and brought laughter to everyone. God Bless Juniata and Betty during this time. Ronnie Bell
