Mr. Curtis B. Marshall, age 90, of the Marley Mill Community of Ozark, died Thursday, July 03, 2008, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 5, 2008, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend William Hart and Reverend Timothy Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Friday. Mr. Marshall was a native of Ozark and a retired brick mason. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by one son, Charles E. Marshall, his parents, Columbus and Nettie Marshall, one son-in-law, Bill Hataway, one sister, one granddaughter, and one great granddaughter Survivors include his wife Jewell Smith Marshall of Ozark, six daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Phillip Burkett of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Margaret and Sam Dykes, Patricia and Alton Wallace, Peggy and Aubrey Langford, Deborah and Greg Childree, and Merle Hataway all of Ozark. Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren also survive.
