Mrs. Lynda Portwood Riley, 60, of Ariton, died Saturday, July 9, 2005. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Bethel Assembly of God Church with Pastor Robert Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Ariton Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Tuesday evening, and one hour prior to service time in the Church. Mrs. Riley was born August 5, 1944 in Ariton, Alabama to Irene Smith Phillips and the late Virgil Portwood. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church, and was employed with Dale Medical Center for over 20 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Irene Smith Phillips, Ariton, two sons, Jon Riley and his wife, Kim, Dothan, and their children, Trevor Riley and Madison Spikes, and Dusty Riley and his wife, Felicia, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and their children, Victoria Riley and Olivia Riley.
