Obituary of Nellie Dennis Corn

Mrs. Nellie Corn, 82, of Ozark, passed away Friday morning, March 17, 2017.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P. M. Monday, March 20, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Monday from 1:30 P.M. until service time.
She was born to the late Jack Dennis and Carrie Dennis Carson on August 9, 1934 in Washington, D.C. She married the late William L. Corn where they eventually made Ozark their home after his military retirement in 1966.
She is survived by three daughters: Wynell Reese of Columbia, SC, Keela Deets of O'Fallon, IL and Carmell Corn of Daleville, AL. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Caroline Royal, Corey Stevens, Alexis Deets, Zachary Deets, Mackinley Green, Sydney Green, and one great-grandchild, Owen Frazier. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Corn and her son, William R. Corn. She was an active member of the Ft. Rucker Main Post Chapel for several years.
