Obituary of James Ricky DiFilippo

Mr. James Ricky DiFilippo, 58, of Ozark, died late Thursday evening, May 5, 2016, in Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Goldsmith officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Otherwise they will receive friends at the home of his son, Jason and Megan DiFilippo. Mr. DiFilippo was born July 3, 1957 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He worked with the family owned and operated business, DiFilippo’s Pizza in Ozark, until 2013 when the business closed. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent James DiFilippo in 2015. Survivors include his wife, Becky Hudson DiFilippo; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Megan DiFilippo; one granddaughter, Stella DiFilippo; his Mother, Margaret “Marge” Stewart DiFilippo; two sisters, Gale Lavender and Sherry DiFilippo, all of Ozark; one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Jan Nash of Dothan. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303. Service Information
