Obituary of Mark H. Hollingsworth

Mr. Mark Harold Hollingsworth, Sr., 56, of Daleville, died Saturday, September 3, 2016, in Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, September 9, 2016, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Mr. Richie Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Universalist Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 9:30 A. M. until service time. Mr. Hollingsworth was born October 7, 1959 in Orange County, California and grew up in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Hollingsworth served in the United States Army for twenty years. Following is military service, he worked as an inspector with Nypro Plastic Company in Dothan, with maintenance in Green Acres Trailer Park and numerous other contractors. He also worked with Hometown Heroes/Ben Rice. Survivors include his wife, Kelly Denise Senn Hollingsworth of Daleville; two daughters, Samantha Denise Hollingsworth of Killeen, Texas, Elizabeth Marie Hollingsworth of Daleville; one son, Mark Harold Hollingsworth, Jr. of Daleville; grandchildren, Eric Harper, Jr. and one grandchild on the way; his parents, Philip Forbes Gibson and Sheila Ann Mitchell Gibson of Panama City, Florida; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Debi Cody of Shenandoah, Virginia, Terri Williams of Cairo, Georgia, Tammy and Rodney Johnson of Bethlehem, Georgia; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Alicia Hollingsworth of Spring, Texas, Kevin and Un Hui Hollingsworth of Williamsburg, Virginia.
