Obituary of Brenda Kaye McAfee

Ms. Brenda Kaye McAfee, a resident of Ariton, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, in Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama following an extended illness. She was fifty-two years old.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, 2018, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Bill Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Universalist Cemetery in Ariton, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
Ms. McAfee was born October 4, 1965 in Troy, Alabama. She lived her entire life in the Rocky Head Community of Dale County. Ms. McAfee worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant until she became disabled. She was preceded in death by her father, Delone Price McAfee, Jr.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Zachary and Kailey McAfee of Ariton; her mother, Estelle Strickland McAfee of Ariton; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and David Rogers of Ozark; nephews, Daniel Lee Rogers of Ozark and Nathan G. Rogers (Martina) of Dothan; a special aunt, Eunice Plunkett and a special cousin, Ronnie Plunkett both of Troy; and several other cousins.
