Obituary of Ester Lillian Dotson

Mrs. Esther Lillian "Peggy" Dotson, age 73, of Ozark, died Thursday evening, March 10, 2011, at her home. Funeral services will be graveside at 2:00 P. M. Monday, March 14, 2011, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Stewart Marshall officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the family home. Mrs. Dotson was born September 14, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Walter and Elizabeth Hageman Oberhaus. She moved to Ozark for the first time in 1968 and then moved to various location while her husband served in the military. She and her late husband picked Ozark for their home following his retirement. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends, but always said her best friend was her dog, "Chancey". She will greatly be missed as she was always the "Mom" in the neighborhood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Clifford Dotson. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Kelly and Patrick Cronin from St. Louis, Missouri, Kim Dotson of Ozark one step-daughter, and Mary Ann Cerniglia-Mosher of Washington, D. C.; one son, Cliff Dotson of Ozark; two sisters, Chris Leffler and Shandonrose Beaverson both of Toledo, Ohio; one brother, Lawrence Hageman of Toledo, Ohio; four grandchildren, Ryan Dotson, Brian Dubois, Betty Mosher, and Mandy Mosher.
