Obituary of Charles Eugene Heath

Mr. Charles Eugene "Blue" Heath, age 76, of Ozark, died early Tuesday morning, July 20, 2010, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, July 22, 2010, from Post Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Matthew Wright, Reverend Tom Anderson, and Reverend David Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. His body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Thursday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Wednesday. Mr. Heath was born March 24, 1934 in Dale County, the eldest child of the late Charles Morgan "Charlie" Heath and Neva Creel Heath. He worked with Southeast Alabama Medical Center as a janitor for a number of years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Heath, and his niece, Betsy Johnson. Survivors include his sister, Sylvia Heath Parrish of Dothan; and one brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Linda Heath of Jackson, Tennessee; a very special cousin, Buddy and Eloise Paramore of Ozark; a special nephew and caregiver, Todd and Angie Heath of Ozark; other nieces and nephews, Reverend David and Charlene Parrish, Michael Parrish, Rickey Parrish, Regina and Marshall Sanders, and Heather Heath. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Post Oak Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4108 North Union Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360; or to Wiregrass Hospice, P. O.
