Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Lewis Lambert, age 86, of Ozark, died Friday afternoon, June 11, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, June 15, 2010, from Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Brian Pitts and Reverend Bill Hix officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the church from 12:30 P. M. until service time.
Mrs. Lambert was born December 25, 1923, in Lexington, Tennessee to the late Oscar Lida Lewis and Bertha E. Roby Lewis. She worked in accounting with M. O. Carroll Grocery Company in Ozark for seventeen years and with Civil Service at Fort Rucker for twenty years. She was a devoted member of Ozark Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grantham O. "Dollie" Lambert.
Survivors include a special nephew, Roy W. Tyler of Memphis, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ozark Baptist Church, 282 South Union Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360; or to your favorite charity.
