Mrs. Alvrie Elizabeth Childs Coutu, age 80, of Ozark, died Thursday morning, June 10, 2010, in Dale Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, June 12, 2010, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Friday.
Mrs. Coutu was born January 26, 1930 in Dale County to the late James M. and Beverly Snider Childs. She lived in various locations throughout the world with her late husband, Joseph Coutu, while he served in the United States Army. She attended the First Assembly of God Church of Ozark.
Survivors include two daughters, Claudia Davis of Midland City, Donna Dean and her companion, Billy King of Ozark;
step-brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Annie Merle Williams of New Hope, Alabama;
and one grandson, Jimmy Davis of Midland City.
