Obituary of Betty Sue Hawkins Ray

Mrs. Betty Sue Hawkins Ray, age 72, of Ozark, died Monday morning, March 1, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, March 4, 2010, from Camp Ground Baptist Church with Reverend Al Sonanstine officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Ray's body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Thursday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M. Wednesday evening.
Mrs. Ray was born June 30, 1937 in Paris, Texas to the late Jack and Eva L. Brown Hawkins. She was a homemaker and a member of Camp Ground Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Wade Ray; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Jackie D. Ray of Ozark;
two daughters and one son-in-law, Reba Ray of Ozark, Rose and Shannon Hurst of Enterprise;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Teresa Ray, James and Debra Ray all of Ozark;
four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Eva Cooper, Pat and John Childers of Birthright, Texas, Linda and J. D. Haley of Forney, Texas, Treva Nall of Michigan City, Indiana;
one brother, Harold Hawkins of Birthright, Texas.
grandchildren, Jackie and Dominque Angeles of Birmingham, Matthew Ray of Headland, Morgan Ray of Ozark, Daniel King of Ozark, Alison Gomillion of Nashville, Chris Carlson of Ozark, Lauren McGarvey, Kayla McGarvey, and Mackenzie Hurst all of Enterprise;
great grandchildren, Anna Grace Angeles, Emily Angeles, and Brett Angeles all of Birmingham.
