Janet, I am sorry to hear about your Dad. He and your Mother were always so nice to me. I had the good fortune to talk with your Dad a few years ago. It was great to talk to him about our camping trips to the mountains. Our family's trips to the mountains were special times I will never forget. I remember how much your Dad knew about the Civil War and how he would explain battles, etc. to me. Your parents were special people. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was so sorry to see in the obituaries on Holman's web site that Mr. Harold Dick had died. My family has always used Holman Funeral Home as far back as I can remember. We've always loved everyone there. Mr Harold Dick was always a very nice, kind, caring person. I know that he will sorely be missed by all that knew him, especially friends & family & those who worked with him all those many years. My family I know appreciates all of his kindness towards our family in our times of need. I've always looked up to Mr. Harold Dick and all those who work(ed) at Holman Funeral Home. It takes very special people to be funeral directors. Mr. Dick was one of those people. He will surely be remembered a long time. The Ellis family extend our deepest heartfelt sympathy to the Harold Dick family. God be with you and give you strength, give you peace and blessed assurance in him. Love in Christ, Jackie Ellis Brown
