Obituary of Sarah Nell Bludsworth Cook

Mrs. Sarah Nell Bludsworth Cook, age 67, of Midland City, died Friday, March 3, 2006, in a Dothan hospital. Funeral services will be 1:30 P. M. Monday, March 6, 2006, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Hospice Chaplain Eddie Biss, her nephew Ricky England, and Reverend Roger Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Enon Baptist Church Cemetery near Midland City, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Cook was born January 21, 1939 in Dale County to the late Clara Ruth Garner Bludsworth and Wallace Bludsworth. She worked with White Knight Manufacturing Company for 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed reading and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husbands, Eligh Eldridge, Jr. and F. W. Cook. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Woods and her husband, Buster, of Midland City, one son, Eligh Timothy "Tim" Eldridge, Midland City, seven sisters, Elaine England and husband, Talmadge of Ozark, Alice Olson and husband Gary of Ozark, Dale Nelson and husband Ron of Ozark, Agnes Reeves of Ozark, Yvonne Balkcom of Ewell, Geraldine Hill and husband Ron of Abilene, Texas, and Ann Fisher and husband Jack of Spokane, Washington, four brothers, Wallace C. Bludsworth and wife Judy of Ozark, Tony Lamar Bludsworth and wife Debbie of Ozark, James Hilton Bludsworth and wife Evy of Ozark, and Howard Terry Bludsworth and wife Merri of Ozark, five grandchildren, Krystal Woods, Gavin Woods, Whitney Woods, Taylor Eldridge, and Raylee Madison Eldridge, and two great grandchildren Kaileigh Snider and Michael Snider.
