Mrs. Bertie Mae Dansby Andrews, of Ozark, died Wednesday, January 11, 2006, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, January 14, 2006, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Reverend Jim Strength officiating. Interment will follow in Camp Ground Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Friday evening. Mrs. Andrews was born December 2, 1915 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Bertie Lee Seay Dansby and John Bishop Dansby. She remained a resident of Dale County and loved gardening and growing roses. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Leroy Andrews. Survivors include her daughter, Edith Andrews Phinazee, Ozark, one son, Norman Andrews and his wife, Shelby, Ozark, four grandchildren, James L. Andrews, Tony L. Andrews, Glen D. Phinazee, and Denise Phinazee Ingram, two brothers, Rex Dansby, Adell, Georgia, and Rogers Dansby, Stark, Florida. Four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
