Mrs. Lucille Belcher Martin, age 92, of Ozark, died Sunday morning, October 2, 2005, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be graveside at 2:30 P. M. Thursday, October 6, 2005, at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Greg Aman officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends graveside following the service. Mrs. Martin was born June 5, 1913 in Lockhart, Alabama to the late Stella Zenobia Howell Belcher and Cephus C. Belcher. She had lived in Ozark since childhood and was Executive Director of the Ozark-Dale County Chamber of Commerce for many years. She had also worked with the Ozark Urban Renewal Project. Her husband, Percy M. Martin, preceded her in death in 1979. Survivors include one son, Dr. Jim Martin and his wife, Kathleen of Hoover, Alabama, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Resource Center, P. O. Box 1170, Dothan, Alabama 36302.
