Obituary of Louise Judah Mason White

Mrs. Louise Judah Mason White, 79, of the Ewell Community of Ozark, died January 27, 2005, in Cook Springs, Alabama, near Birmingham, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, January 30, 2005, at Ewell Bible Baptist Church with Pastor David Lewis,Reverend Greg Aman, and Mr. Randy Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in Ewell Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Saturday. The body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time Sunday. Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Judah Mason White was born September 26, 1925, in Dale County. She was the daughter of the late William Henry "Bud" Judah and Era Mae Cain Judah of the Ewell community near Ozark. She worked for over 30 years with various aircraft maintenance contractors at Fort Rucker, Alabama. She was a beloved member of Ewell Bible Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and was active in the Dolly Mallory Missionary Circle. She enjoyed flower arranging, reading, and trips with her daughters. She was a wonderful mother, loyal friend, and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Cordell White; and brothers, Neal Judah and Ulysses "Skeets" Judah.. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Mason Harris and her husband, Porter Harris of Odenville, Alabama; and Patricia Mason Fritts of Decatur, Georgia; step-daughters, Sandra White Woodham of Washington, D.C.; Patricia White Thomas of Ozark; and Sheryl White Jowers of Ozark.; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother, Curtis Judah of Ozark; one nephew, and three nieces. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Society for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Woodholme Medical Building, Suite 515, 1838 Greene Tree Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21208.
