Mr. Lee was a member of the Ozark Masonic Lodge #349 for over 50 years, was the caretaker of Shiloh Cemetery in Clayhatchee for many years and was active in the Sons of the Confederate Veterans. He was elected to the Board of Deacons of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in 1962. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Willie Frances Paramore Lee in 2002.
