Obituary of Maxine Tomlin Danner

Mrs. Maxine Tomlin Danner, a resident of Ariton, died Friday, December 14, 2018, at her home. She was ninety-one years old.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 16, 2018, from Bethel Assembly of God Church in Ariton with Pastor Jeff Downing officiating. Interment will follow in Ariton Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday afternoon from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
Mrs. Danner was born November 16, 1927 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Eddie Newton Tomlin and Nobie Frances Taylor Tomlin. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Eugene “Gene” Danner; two sons, Anthony Danner and Taylor Danner; one sister, Eleanor Frances Tomlin; Six brothers, Don Tomlin, Roscoe Tomlin, Howard Morrell "Ted" Tomlin, Roy B. "Mack" Tomlin, James E. "Boots" Tomlin and Eddie Newton "Sonny" Tomlin, Jr.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Noel and Nancy Danner; daughter-in-law, Pam Danner; two grandchildren, Jed Danner and Bailee Danner all of Ariton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bethel Assembly of God Church, P. O. Box 33, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
