Obituary of Mattie Pearl Wiggins Beasley

Mrs. Mattie Wiggins Beasley,76, of Ozark, died Friday morning, May 26, 2017, at her home.
A memorial service for Mrs. Beasley will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 28, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Bob Hattaway officiating.
Mrs. Beasley was born December 20, 1940 in Hartford, Alabama to the late Theopolis “Bud” Wiggins and Zeffie Herndon Wiggins. She lived most of her early years in the Adams Mill Community of Dale County. She was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church in Ozark. Mrs. Beasley was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty June Brannon, Mary Frances Williams, and Nellie Mae McCoy; three brothers, Preston Wiggins, Wilmer Wiggins, and Leamon Wiggins.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen R. and Jimmy Crook of Callaway, Florida, Phyllis D. White of Elba, Alabama, and Stephanie and John Eringman of Robertsdale, Alabama; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Kevin Dean Beasley, Stephen R. and Shirley Ann Beasley, and Jeffrey A. Beasley all of Ozark; one sister, Bonnie Ruth Thomas; one brother, Derryl Wiggins. Thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGhee Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36111.
