Mrs. Mary Ellen Key Watson, 90, formerly of Enterprise, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, March 20, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Rinnie Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Newton City Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Monday from 10:00 A. M. until service time.
Mrs. Watson was born June 22, 1926 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John Murphy Key and Cynthia Omycindy Bristow Key. She was employed with Jimmy Day Cleaners in Daleville, Daleville City School Cafeteria, and other restaurants in the area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Watson, Sr.; her son, George Raymond Jenkins; two grandsons, David Taylor and John McIngvale; one sister, Juanita Lovelace; three brothers, Walter Key, John Murray Key, and J. T. Key.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Howard of Clayton, Alabama, Brenda and Jerry Whitehead of Blakely, Georgia, Cynthia and John McIngvale of Mayville, Michigan; one son and daughter-in-law, Tom Watson, Jr. and Tammy of Daleville; two sisters, Patsy Lomax of Pinellas Park, Florida and Pam Bennett of Louisville, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
