Obituary of Hazel Lee Isler Wallace

Mrs. Hazel Lee Isler Wallace, age 95, of Ozark, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, November 6, 2015, from Post Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Matthew Wright and Pastor Barry Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Wallace was born July 31, 1920 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Joseph L. Isler and Bessie Oliver Isler. She had lived in Ozark since marrying her husband in 1952, and was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Bascom Hardwick and Robert “Bobby” Hardwick; three sisters, JoAnn Walters, Merle Shiner, and Dorothy Harrison; and one brother, Jack Isler.
Survivors include her husband, John Milton Wallace of Ozark; three daughters, Vera (John) Cooper, Myra Winslow, and Jan (Jim) Vaught all of Ozark; one son, Johnny (Kathryn) Wallace of Marietta, South Carolina; one sister, Carolyn Hatfield of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren also survive.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1124 County Road 11, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
