Jeff,
I extend my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your mom; so much of what you described sounded so familiar - your mom, my Mom (she passed away in 2007); my Grandmother Payne (your Great Aunt Jewell); your grandmother Baldwin (my Great Aunt Lucille). Our Grandmothers being identical twins, we should expect our Mom’s having some similar traits. I remember you making your decision to leave Auburn to fly - I’m so glad we had that year together as roommates. I had the opportunity to get to know your mom. Find me if you can.
Ronnie and Debbie;
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your sister. Your mom and dad were two of my favorite relatives and we had a great many relatives. It has been sad seeing our large extended families leave us but we truly were the richer having shared them.
May God bless, Jeff and his family; Ronnie and Debbie; and all our remaining family. May He protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life.
Sincerely,
Mark, Priscilla, William and Wyatt Newman

Jeff, I am so sorry to hear about Jean's death. I love Jean. She and Gayle were the sisters I didn't have. I have great memories of our youth. Living side by side in the middle of our family. Grandparents were there also. Felt so safe and happy. Life was good. Didn't see her very much in our adult years, but every time a loved one leaves this world I feel like some of me goes too. I am so sad. I haven't spent much time around you, Jeff, you always lived far away, but I know your mother loved you and was so proud of you. God bless you and your family. Love you. Julie

Jeff...what a wonderful remembrance, you did great on your homework. So wonderful to see Aunt Jean through your eyes and heart. I remember the times we would travel to see you all and picking me up at the Atlanta Airport when I would fly from Visiting in NC. So many happy times and beyond blessed to have those memories to share. All our love and prayers to all. I love you Aunt Jean always!

Jeff, I remember your mom's sweet smile and laugh. Sharing your letter about her was a testimony to be treasured. Memories fill us with lots of emotions, embrace the sweet ones and cast your
cares on Jesus. Keeping you and your family in prayers as you transition into the seasons of life to come, without your mom. Much sympathy from Sandra and Greg Pritchett

Jeff,
It was horrible finding out Wednesday night, from mom, that Aunt Jean had died. Last weekend when Elizabeth, Gene and myself visited her it was sad seeing her not being her normal, charismatic self...but at least I was able to say my goodbyes. As for your homework, you nailed it! I know her, and I knew her final wishes, and saying that she didn’t want anyone “gawking at her” made me laugh so hard I cried. She has been struggling with the copd for years and as bad as I hated to see her go....she is in a much better place.
