Mrs. Gordary Lee Shehane Pelham, 97, of Ozark, formerly of Elamville, died Thursday, March 26, 2015. Funeral services will be graveside 2:00 P. M. Saturday, March 28, 2015, in Elam Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Lewis officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends in the cemetery following the service. Mrs. Pelham was born July 23, 1917 in Dale County to the late Arthur Robert Shehane and Alice Ann Courtney Shehane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Ray Pelham; one son, Arthur Owen Pelham; and all of her siblings. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Pelham Roberts of Clio; and one granddaughter, Dr. Kim Roberts of Dunwoody, Georgia; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Elam Cemetery Fund, C/O Mrs. Marie Price, 50 Byrd Road, Ariton, Alabama 36311; or to your favorite charity.
