Mr. Alto Roger Thompson, 59, of Ozark, went to his Heavenly Home early Thursday morning, March 12, 2015, at his home following a long courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, March 14, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Royce Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Congregational Methodist Church in Clio, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 12:30 P. M. until service time. Mr. Thompson was born August 9, 1955 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Herbert Hoover Thompson and Jewlene Smith Thompson. He worked with AAA Cooper Transportation as a driver for thirty-five years until his retirement in 2013. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Edmond Thompson, and his brother, James Herbert Thompson. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Vickie Lavender Thompson and one daughter, Angela Thompson, both of Ozark.
