Obituary of Leora Roberson Dickinson

Mrs. Leora Roberson Dickinson, 89, of Echo, died Friday morning, January 16, 2015, at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, January 19, 2015, from Echo United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Skeen, Reverend Phil Craddock (Son-In-Law), and Reverend Sam Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Sunday from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Mrs. Dickinson was born January 28, 1925 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Perry McDonald Roberson and Mattie Jo Cason Roberson. She was a member of Ozark Baptist Church and attended Echo United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patti Golden; and one brother, Donald Roberson. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, John Dickinson of Echo; two daughters and sons-in-law, Katie and Phil Craddock of Headland, AL, Emily and Tommy Johnson of DeFuniak Springs, FL; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sallie Button of Albany, NY, Ruby Jo and Eddie Faust of Lynn Haven, FL; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Bonnie Roberson of Sacramento, CA; six grandchildren, Miki (Bob) Botel, Devan (Wes) Grayson, Lauren (Aaron) Kerchner, Jordan Craddock, Lindsay (Jonathan) Cellon, Libbi (Nathan) Thomas. Fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
