Obituary of Mazean Maddox Odom

Mrs. Mazean Maddox Odom, 91, of Ozark, died Tuesday evening, December 23, 2014, in Dale Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, December 28, 2014, from Camp Ground Baptist Church with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M.
Mrs. Odom was born February 10, 1923 in New Brockton, Alabama to the late Joseph Isaiah Maddox, Jr. and Della Elizabeth Clark Maddox. She worked as a beautician for many years and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Earl Odom; one son, Sammy Earl Odom.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Eddy and Judy Odom of Ozark;
three grandchildren, Derek Odom, Michael Odom, and Justin Odom;
five great grandchildren, Nathan Odom, Kadyn Odom, Brycen Odom, Orrin Odom, and Essic Odom;
two brothers, James Maddox and Howard Maddox of Enterprise.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
