Mrs. Minnie Lee Baldwin Whaley, 98, of the Asbury Community, died Friday, November 21, 2014, in Havana, Florida. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, November 23, 2014, from Asbury United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Rick Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday from 3:30 P. M. until 5:30 P. M. Mrs. Whaley was born April 11, 1916 in Dale County to the late William Homer Baldwin and Healon Lucille Snell Baldwin. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Glenn Whaley; one brother, James William Baldwin; and one sister, Grace Lydia Baldwin Whaley. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Juliatte and Milford Gray of Tallahassee, Florida; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Wanda Whaley of Ozark/Troy; grandchildren, Mel Gray, Connie and Eddie Blair, Wendy and Craig Harden, Jan and Steve Cooper; great grandchildren, Matthew Whaley, Martin and Kimberly Whaley, and Stephen Cooper.
