Mrs. Ruby Lee Baker Skipper, 90, of Ozark, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014, in Wesley Manor Retirement Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, October 30, 2014, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark with Reverend Danny Bynum officiating. Interment will follow in Christian Hill Cemetery with Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 A. M. until service time.
Mrs. Skipper was born June 19, 1924, in Covington County, Alabama, to the late Morris Livingston Baker and Icy Rosanna Cole Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Skipper; two sisters, Deseree Foster and Mary McDaniel; and three brothers, D. C. Baker, Marvin Baker, and Willie Baker.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Beverly and Jimmy Richburg of Midland City, Olivia and George Brinson of Grimes, Judy Hartman of Tampa; one daughter-in-law, Janet Skipper of Midland City;
a special nephew, Jerry and Faith Bolton of Kinsey;
eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted.
