Obituary of Annie Edna Pritchett Carroll

Mrs. Annie Edna Pritchett Carroll, age 87, of Ariton, died Thursday, August 14, 2014, at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, August 19, 2014, in Faith Worship Church with Reverend Dorlan Hammond, Reverend Kelsey Brantley, and Reverend Tommy Hartzog officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the church from 12:30 P. M. until service time. Mrs. Carroll was born April 27, 1927 in Pike County to the late Abe and Nunnie Dansby Pritchett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cullin C. Carroll; one son, William Dan Carroll; three sisters, Lucille Skipper, Jo Zukowski, and Vivian Morris; one brother, Junior “Son” Pritchett. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Cullen and Joye Carroll of Lake Wales, FL; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Pat Cochran of Auburndale, FL; Nina and Jerry Fain of Crestview, FL, one sister, Sue Johnson of Midland, GA; one brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Patsy Pritchett of Newport Richie, FL. Eighteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to Calvary Assembly of God Church, 415 County Road 8, Clio, AL 36017; or to Faith Worship Church 611 Alabama Hwy 10, Clio, AL 36017.
