Mr. Whitman was a nice man and a good teacher. I enjoyed the slides of his trips to Hawaii. Rest in peace Mr. Whitman.

Bob will always be remembered here at Woods Church in Severna Park MD for his love of life and dedication to public service. He was a member of the Men's Bible Class and we remember him very fondly. He was a great gentleman and a very good man and he is deeply missed. From all of us in the Men's Bible Class we offer our prayers to all his family and thanks for his time with us.

Bob's obituary was in today's Annapolis Capital. I can't remember when I last saw Bob and Betty at one of our John Paul Jones Chapter SAR meetings. He was our Chapter President back in the early to mid 1980s. I followed him as President later in the 80s. I remember he always took one of our Good Citizenship medals to the Glen Burnie High School to present to the chosen senior graduate. We have been to his home in Severna Park a number of times for one meeting or another. He is fortunate to have had such a long life with his many family members and grandchildren. Barry McKown, Past Maryland Society State President.

May all the wonderful memories he left behind bring the family some comfort at this very difficult time. And may the peace of the Living God, thru prayer guard your hearts and thinking to help you cope without him, now and in the days ahead. Rely on the strength only the Creator can give (Phil 4:6, 7, 13).
