Mrs. Melba Faulk Kennedy, age 71, of Hartford, died Saturday morning, October 13, 2012, in Flowers Hospital.
Funeral services will be graveside at 10:30 A. M. Monday, October 15, 2012, in Carroll Cemetery in Ozark with Pastor Randy Adams officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service Monday.
Mrs. Kennedy was born April 17, 1941 in Ozark to the late William Haynes Faulk and Anna Lois Blackmon Faulk. She had lived in Hartford since 1970 and attended Friendship Assembly of God Church in Taylor. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Wayne Faulk.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Simmons (David Hall) of Hartford;
one sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Oscar Wynn of Ozark.
Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
