Obituary of W. Bruce Stewart

Mr. W. Bruce "W. B." Stewart, age 87, died early Friday morning, August 17, 2012, in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Funeral services will 2:30 P. M. Sunday, August 19, 2012, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend William Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 P. M. until service time.
Mr. Stewart was born February 21, 1925 in Coffee County to the late James Robert Stewart and Jersey Prillie Willoughby Stewart. He worked as an electrician for Hayes Aircraft in Station Island, New York, Akin, South Carolina, and various towns in Georgia. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ozark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Ree Foskey Stewart in 2006; his daughter, Pam Stewart Gill in 2003; and his son, Jeff Stewart in 1982.
Survivors include one sister, Myrle Crow of Decatur, Alabama;
his son-in-law, Richard L. "Dickie" Gill of Ozark;
two sisters-in-law, Annette Poston of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Frankie Stewart of Algood, Tennessee;
two grandsons, Shawn Gill and Lance Gill;
and one great grandson, Hunter Ray Gill.
