Gloria I only just saw Nell Ruth had passed. I am sorry, had known her for many years. Always loved to visit with her, she loved cooking and sharing her recipes (some of them). I know you will miss her.

Even though Nell and Bill were sister- and brother-in-law to me, they will always be referred to as Aunt Nell and Uncle Bill. Aunt Nell can't be remembered without thinking of Uncle Bill. I've known the two for more than 40 years; Nell was such a beautiful Southern lady and Bill such a gentleman and so witty. I can remember many times at the Village Restaurant how the men would gather around their coffee table at the restaurant talking about how much rain they'd received the night before according to their rain gauge (everybody had one and so did I when I came back to Tennessee). Then there was the joke with the numbers. Uncle Bill would call out numbers, i.e., 13 , 23, 16. Everybody knew what joke number 13, 23, and 16 were. As everybody will remember Uncle Bill was a Tennessee fan. In later years, Aunt Nell enjoyed watching the Braves games. Aunt Nell taught me so much about cooking. Along with everyone else, Sam and I enjoyed visiting her; she enjoyed entertaining and it never seemed a chore for her. Aunt Nell, we love you but glad that you are now resting with Uncle Bill. Love, Jolene and Sam

She was such a precious lady. I enjoyed knowing her as a CVS customer. She was always so kind-especially after the death of Mother nearly 3 years ago. And, or course, I was recipient of some of her baked goods through the years-yum, yum.
