Mrs. Ruth Daphene Bell Salmon, age 69, of Daleville, died Friday September 23, 2011, at her home in Daleville.
A memorial service for Mrs. Salmon will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, September 26, 2011, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Roger Stone officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Mrs. Salmon was born February 27, 1942 in Jackson County, Florida to the late William Simon Bell and Lela Mae Shumake Bell. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed traveling, going to Biloxi, and fishing. Mrs. Salmon had lived in Daleville since 1976.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Salmon.
Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Judy and Richard Bray of Enterprise, Barbara Hamilton of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Tamara Kyser of Enterprise;
one son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Peggy Snellgrove of Clayhatchee;
one sister, Karen Martin of Dothan;
seven grandchildren, Richard Hamilton, Dylan Yelverton, Savannah Kyser, April Carper, Candece Yount, Jemmie Lee Lamb, and J. R. Todd;
one great grandchild; Max Hamilton.
