Susan and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. The times I remembering seeing your Mom during our high school days, she had a smile and presence that would light up the room.

Ann was a remarkable servant for the Lord! As Dottie’s roommate, she prayed me through every law school exam I had. She was gracious in letting Gifford take me out to dinner when he was traveling to Tallahassee when I lived there. A few years ago I asked her what advice she would give to couples and without hesitating at all she said give sacrificially to your spouse. She glorified God in all she said and did! I love her daughters and I love Ann and Gifford. My family is praying for the Garner family. May God give you peace and comfort as you grieve your loss and celebrate a life that glorified God. I can hear God saying, well done good and faithful Servant! Love you!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I feel very fortunate to have known Ann and to have been able to spend time with her when she came to Roanoke to visit her family here and share a meal or two. Ann was indeed a very special lady and I appreciated how she made me feel part of her extended family. She will be missed! Sending my love.

What a great lady Ann was always encouraging and uplifting. She will be missed by a lot of people and our Church Family that she was such an important part of. Ann is with Gifford and resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
