Dear family and friends of Mr. Shipman, I am very sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a wonderful promise. The scriptures found in Acts 24:15 and Revelations 21:3,4 tells us that we can see our loved ones again and it will be in a time where there is no longer any death. What a wonderful promise straight from Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). https://www.jw.org/finder?pub=bhs&wtlocale=E&srcid=share

I am sorry for your lose and hope you know that Tommy was a positive influence in the Air Guard and I like the way he was described as an avid outdoors man. I hope to aspire to be described that way as well one day. I would like to think he was living life to the fullest up until his death. He will be missed.

Shipman always impressed me as the epitome of a gentile Southern gentleman. He was always fairly quiet and humble in the times that I saw him at drill each month, and I haven't seen him much at all since we all retired. I feel sure he was a great husband, father, and grandfather. I call him by his last name because that's what all of us did while we were on duty. To me, it's a term of respect, and I did respect him. Rest easily, Shipman.
