I had only known Steve for a little over a year but we became fast friends. Our stories so similar, we had so much in common. I had the opportunity to meet his wonderful parents on our way back from the beach last summer. Steve talked about his family a lot. Especially his wife and his boys. I had just seen Steve on Tuesday and talked to him the Thursday prior. I heard the news that Saturday morning. Still trying to process it all. I miss my friend and I am praying for his family.
War Eagle, Steve!

I am just now learning of Steve’s death! I am so sorry. Every memory of him is with him smiling and laughing! Although many years have passed since I last saw him... I thank him for the joy he shared with me and so many others!
May his memory remain as a blessing for all who knew and loved him!

Ms Peggy, Mr Jim, Christi - thoughts and prayers for all of you, his wife and their kids. I’ll always remember Steve, Christi, my sister Carolyn and myself always jumping in the pool and swimming as kids. Throwing the cat from the second story window of our house being built to see if it would land on all 4 legs and then praying we didn’t get caught doing it LOL. Steve always smiled even when we “made” him play with barbies and dolls with us girls. Catching tadpoles in the stream behind the house. Many great memories and Steve always smiling and laughing. Hugs, love and prayers for all.

I worked with Steve at Metro Trailer and I am so saddened to hear of his passing . Although I rejoice knowing he knew the lord and is in heaven now. The earthly world is going to sure miss him and has lost one of the kindest , good hearted people I’ve ever met. Never heard him say anything bad about anyone , even in situations where someone normally would . He just kept smiling and never let too much bother him. I pray for his wife , kids, parents, and sister . I know from knowing him that he loved you all so very much . I am honored and blessed to have known him . Steve I hope you are drinking free bubble up and eating that rainbow stew .

I went to High School with Steve. I remember he always had a smile on his face. He was funny and witty and kind to everyone. Steve and the boys in the back row of the choir room could often be seen playing cards before and sometime during class ;) I’m heartbroken to hear of his passing. The world has lost a bright light. Love and prayers being sent from AZ to his wife and boys as well as his parents and sister.

We already miss you terribly at Metro Trailer, Steve. You had a personality like no other. Corn Nuts, hearing "Are We Havin' Fun, Yet?" and "What ya workin on?" will never be the same without you. You left us too soon, buddy.

We cannot believe Steve left us so soon! I know Steve was a good father, son, husband and associate of our company. I personally picked Steve to join Metro Trailer Rental in Atlanta after he called on me while working at another company. He had great ability. He was a kind and caring man. Wish we had had him much longer. I'm sure the Lord has a much better plan. Eddie
