Obituary of Terry Vince Tyler

Mr. Terry Vince Tyler, 69, a resident of Ozark, died late Wednesday evening, February 19, 2020, in Flowers Hospital.
Funeral services will be graveside 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 22, 2020, in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tara Chamblee officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Mr. Tyler was born February 17, 1951 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to the late Troy Vince Tyler and Lois Louise Hamilton Tyler. He served in the United States Army for three years. Following his military service, he worked with Civil Service at Fort Rucker for 29 years, retiring as a Scheduling Clerk. Terry enjoyed watching movies, painting, and collecting model cars and trains. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Susanna Tyler; one son, Donald Paul Haler, and two grandsons, Matthew Tyler, and Braiden Tyler.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Monk Tyler of Ozark; five sons, Billy Edwin Tyler of Mobile, Troy Joseph Tyler (Ashley) of Enterprise, Aaron Vincent Tyler (Delilah) of Chancellor, Peter Hagler of Birmingham, and Philip Hagler of Dothan; two sisters, Gloria Ann Day (John) of Florala, Ellen Dean (David) of Friendship; three brothers, Victor Tyler (Marilyn) of Toccoa, Georgia, Tony Tyler of Tacoma, Washington, and Tommy Tyler of Elba. Fifteen grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 2536 County Road 33, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
