Our family is so sorry for your loss. We only knew Gary through jewelry purchases but when I read his obituary said he had a quick wit, it took me back to the fall of 1993. My now husband had taken me to Harbin’s to look at engagement rings and Gary’s “job” was to steer each of our teen daughters in the right direction. We thought it would be good for them to actually “help” pick it out. Joey’s daughter was not looking at anything of “size” until Gary said, “That is a beautiful ring and maybe one day she will help pick out yours!” Suddenly they were looking at the rings in a totally different section. I hope this brings a little smile to your faces because it is a wonderful family memory for us! Praying for you all, Joey and Tanya Deavers
