Ms. Linda Barefoot Johnson, 70, a resident of Ariton, passed away at 3:26 P.M. Thursday, June 4, 2020, with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be graveside10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 6, 2020, in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Ariton. Reverend Dave Walsh of Ariton Baptist Church will be officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Ms. Johnson was born February 1, 1950 in Ariton, Alabama to the late Cecil and Christine Hayes. Linda was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Dothan and a devout follower of Jesus Christ. She never missed an opportunity to witness to others. She loved her children and grandchildren and will be truly missed by them.
She leaves behind a son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, Bart, Kim and Shelby Barefoot; a daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons, Wendy, Tony Anthony and Hunter Reynolds; a sister, brother-in-law, and nephew, Lynell, Thomas and Wesley Alums.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Mr. Nelson Senn, 373 County Road 241, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
