Obituary of Mary Beasley Amenda

Mrs. Mary Beasley Amenda, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday, June 28, 2020 in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation. She was 97 years old. A private memorial service will be held for Mrs. Amenda at a later date, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com. Mrs. Amenda was born December 25, 1922 in Cleburne, Texas to the late John Floore Beasley and Blanche Hamilton Beasley. She lived in various places before moving to Ozark in the summer of 1962. Her work career included being an instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Ft. Worth and a clerk for various businesses to include White Swan Foods in Austin, F & W Construction and Sheffield Oil in Ozark before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Arnold J. Amenda, Jr.; and four sisters, Julia Kramer, Helen Crochet, Betty Etier and Blanche Cole. She is survived by her daughter, Jaann Amenda Wells (Nigel) of Ozark; her grandchildren, Kim Wells Gordon (Scott) of Charlotte, NC, Allison Wells Draper (Thomas) of Muncie IN, Angie Wells Ganey (Brandon) of Ozark, and Eben Wells (Ashlie) of Dothan; great grandchildren, Tripp and Beasley Gordon, Ansley and Josiah Draper, Callie, Emmy, and Wells Ganey, Eben and Elle Wells; one sister, Barbara Hooker of Hillsboro, TX. Seventeen nieces and nephews also survive.
