Lorene was a fixture of my childhood. I remember so well one summer when she was raising some orphaned kittens, and let me come over every day to help her bottle feed them. Visiting the Dairy King and seeing her there was always a treat! Later in life, she was an inspiration, hale and hearty and living on her own well into her 10th decade! Much love to the family, may your memories of her bring a smile to your face, as they do to mine.
