Obituary of Patricia Stanford Kemp

Mrs. Patricia Stanford Kemp, a resident of Dothan, died Sunday, March 7, 2021. She was 88 years old. Funeral services for Mrs. Kemp will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 11, 2021, in Westview Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Ozark. Mrs.Patsy McNab will be the speaker. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Kemp was born September 25, 1932 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Belton T. Stanford and Gladys Matthews Stanford. She graduated from Dale County High School in 1950 and had lived in Dothan since 1969. Mrs. Kemp was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Dothan. She worked with Flowers Hospital in Dothan and retired as Supervisor of the escort service. Mrs. Kemp worked as a volunteer with R. S. V. P. and SARCOA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kemp; and one sister, Melissa Ann Stanford. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Stanley Kemp (Dawn) and Mike Kemp all of Dothan; two grandchildren, Daniel Kemp and Alicia Shurbet (Jay).
