Obituary of Reverend Harvey Luke

Reverend Harvey Dean Luke, a resident of Ozark, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 69 years old. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Sunday, October 17, 2021, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark with Reverend Archie Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P. M. Reverend Luke was born November 24, 1951 in Dickson, Tennessee to the late William Albert Luke and Alene Belle Dunn Luke. He has pastored five Free Will Baptist Churches, three Methodist Churches and was a member of Winslette Chapel Methodist Church. He was an active amateur radio operator with the call sign of KM4JA. Survivors include his wife, Janie Matthews Luke of Ozark; his children, Hannah Peters (George) of Dothan and Amy Luke of Ozark; two grandsons, Nathan Brown and Luke Peters.
