Obituary of Johnnie C. Hagler

Mr. Johnnie C. Hagler, 84, of Ozark, died Friday, April 28, 2017, at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday, May 1, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Barry Clark and Reverend Robert Pugh officiating. Interment will follow in First Holy Ground Cemetery in Ozark, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Sunday afternoon from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M.
Mr. Hagler was born April 26,1933 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Hester Hason Hagler and Tommie Gladys Welch Hagler. He was engaged in farming since the young age of twelve. Mr. Hagler received several awards for his farming productions and served on the Board of Dale Farmers Cooperative and ALFA Farmers Federation. He attended the Church of God House of Prayer in Ozark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Roberts and Margarette Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Watson Hagler; one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Shawn Cryer; one son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Lannie Hagler; one grandson, Cole Hagler; one granddaughter, Amy Dunn; two sisters, Annette Bright and Lanara Barrentine; and one brother-in-law, Dennis Watson all of Ozark. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
