Mrs. Gertrud Margarete “Trudy” Arnold McIntosh, a former resident of Ozark, died Friday, November 26, 2021. She was 87 years old.
Funeral services for Mrs. McIntosh will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 6, 2021, from the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Ozark with Reverend Chad Ingle officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations officiating. The family will receive friends Monday in the church from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
Mrs. McIntosh was born November 11, 1934 in Crailsheim, Germany to the late Karl Heinrich Arnold and Berta Friederike Volk Arnold. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Ozark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Earl McIntosh.
She is survived by two daughters, Trudy Shirah (Keith) of Monroe, Georgia, Patty Hickman (Greg) of Auburn, Alabama; three grandsons, Sean Shirah (Hannah), Chris Shirah (Jessica) and Matt McIntosh (Mihaela); great grandchildren, Emma Shirah, Jackson Shirah, Noah Shirah, Nate Shirah, Blakelee Shirah, Olivia Shirah, Stella Shirah, Anderson Shirah and Jamie McIntosh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P. O. Box 1170, Dothan, Alabama 36302.
