On Sunday, December 5, 2021, Marilyn Rulason, loving mother, wife and grandmother, passed away at the age of 64.
A memorial service for Mrs. Rulason will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Mt. Pleasant Assembly of God Church (1986 Mt. Pleasant Road in Westville, Florida). Holman Funeral and Cremations of Ozark is entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Rulason was born July 7, 1957 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Alder Lee Mixon and Ruby Grace Jackson Mixon. Marilyn had a passion for reading, diamond art and puzzles, to name just a few. She loved music from Percy Sledge, George Strait and music from the 70’s and 80’s. Marilyn had a smile that would light up a room and compassion to help anyone in need when she was able. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Michael Lolley.
Survivors include her husband, James Rulason; one daughter, Tina Vaughn; grandson, Nathan; daughter-in-law, Jen Lolley; granddaughters, Izzy and Aspen; sister, Glenda Locke along with her family; brothers-in-law, Hugh Locke and Louis Hertzberg. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
