Obituary of Ellis Ray Paulk Jr.

Mr. Ellis Ray Paulk, Jr., a resident of North Palm Beach, Florida and formerly of Ariton, died Friday, February 25, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 80.
Funeral services for Mr. Paulk will be graveside 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Ariton Cemetery. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremation of Ozark directing.
Mr. Paulk was born July 25, 1941 in Troy, Alabama to the late Ellis Ray Paulk, Sr. and Daisy Aline Metcalf Paulk. He grew up in Opp, Alabama and later lived on the family farm in Ariton. Mr. Paulk served in the United States Army and was discharged in 1969. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors Degree in Business and received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University. He worked as a Chief Financial Officer until his retirement. Mr. Paulk enjoyed golfing, fishing and watching Alabama football.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Kaye Wendt Paulk; one son, Ellis Ray Paulk III and his wife, Clare; one daughter, Rachel Chandler and her husband, John; grandchildren, Richard, Taryn, Nick and his wife, Dayana, Chelsea and her husband, Mark, David and his wife Anna, Jaclyn and Gabriel; great grandchildren, William Huckleberry, Madeline, Xander, Joey, Ava, Nick. Lucas, Mandy and Mark; one sister, Charlotte Hatcher; two sisters-in-law, Susan Pologruto and Nancy Jones. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
